Stackable Three Plate Set
This beautiful three plate set showcases two dinner size speckled white plates. One with green trim and one with blue trim; coupled with a matching green trimmed starter plate. You can see a very small surface crack on the largest plate, filled in with gold paint and resin, inspired by the Japanese art, Kintsugi, where pieces are repaired with gold, emulating that broken can become more beautiful. The crack is only on the very top surface and does not bleed through the whole piece.
This set is perfect for an evening in for two, cooking with your loved one, or even serving up your favorite dishes at a dinner party. The extra long edges make these plates perfect for any dish, as the sides emulate the feeling of a bowl, with the space and surface of a plate, (my favorite dishes are plates that are also bowls, gotta love the versatility!)
Handmade with b-mix clay I blended myself; wheel-thrown, glazed, and fired by myself as well. The larger plates are eight to eight and a half inches in diameter and one inch tall. With the smaller plate being six and a half inches in diameter. Together this set weighs nine pounds.
